Mobilizing Virtual Prayer Mentors

Unprecedented times calls for unprecedented action. There is a great need and we have a great answer. Global Media Outreach recently stated "Covid-19 causes people around the globe to seek spiritual assurance at unprecedented levels." People of God, it's go time!
Pastors and other ministry leaders are feeling the weight of caring for people's souls. So many people are fearful, lonely and anxious and are reaching out to those of us who have HOPE. It shouldn't only be on the leaders' shoulders to meet those needs. We can ALL step in and help - men and women, young and old.
MORE Mentoring is all about pointing people to Jesus through prayer-focused mentoring. God has prepared us to equip YOU with the necessary tools and resources needed for mentoring.
We don't see mentoring as giving advice or good counsel. We see it as coming alongside another person, pointing him/her to Jesus through our four simple, yet powerful pillars of mentoring: LOVE, LISTEN, ENCOURAGE, PRAY.
We are at a point in history where the world is open to God and prayer. They are desperate for answers and we know Who is the answer; let's share Him!
Let's offset the COVID-19 pandemic with a pandemic of prayer!
Action Steps for increasing 1:1 prayer-focused mentoring:
1. Reach out to your church/ministry leaders and share the idea of mobilizing virtual prayer mentors.
2. Form a team of people who could oversee and track the mentors so our pastors and ministry leaders aren't overwhelmed with one more thing to do.
3. Train the mentors (we can help you with this).
4. Connect mentors with those who are reaching out and needing prayer support at this critical time.
